Children's Ministries
Following Jesus' example, children are a high-priority for the congregation of Parkway Heights. Typically, each year nearly 100 adult volunteers of all ages spend time with children during regular Sunday morning activities each year.

Early Encounters provides day care and instruction to children in a Christian environment.

The Summit
The Summit, a gathering of young adults and other seekers, meets Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. for food, fellowship and worship.

Sunday School
Parkway Heights encourages growth through study. Some Sunday school classes are organized by age, others by a common interest or study materials. We meet and share at 9:45am Sunday mornings.

Small Groups
We believe strongly in the power of small groups. One of the fundamental elements in the early days of the Methodist movement was commitment to sharing in a small group setting. Within our small groups, we encourage, share, study, and hold each other accountable as we take this journey of faith together. Most small groups are either interest- based or task-oriented.

Bible Study Groups
At Parkway Heights, we are committed to learning more about God's Word and (DELETE to) finding ways to live out our faith using Jesus' example to guide us. One helpful tool is the series of Disciple Bible Studies. Other Bible study groups meet throughout the year, some on a long-term basis, others for four to six weeks at a time.

Wednesdays At Parkway
During a busy week, it is a refreshing pause to come together from 5:15 until 7:00 p.m. for fellowship, small groups and studies and a great meal. "Wednesdays at Parkway" is a great place to meet friends or to find a small group that helps you answer life's questions.

Music and Worship

The Music Ministry offers opportunities to serve for all ages. Adult choirs include Sanctuary Choir, Praise Choir, GLORY Choir, and Celebration Ringers. Children's choirs are divided by age. Instrumentalists are encouraged be involved in leading worship.
Our Drama ministry includes adults, youth and children who enjoy conveying God's message much like Jesus did in his parables. We use this method of "storytelling" to enhance the message in our worship services and to help children see Bible stories come to life.
