Bruce is in his 21st year under appointment in the Mississippi Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. He went to seminary at Duke Divinity School. He has served churches in Meridian, Mississippi; Wasilla, Alaska; Madison, Mississippi; and Hattiesburg. Bruce loves leading, teaching, preaching and mentoring. He believes that the local church can be fun and transformative and that it is the place where disciples are made, strengthened, trained and sent out. He enjoys playing the guitar and singing, golf, reading and hiking.
Bruce is married to Jennifer Dallin Case, who teaches fifth grade math at Oak Grove Upper Elementary School. Jen enjoys reading and yoga. Bruce caught up with Jen when he was attending seminary in North Carolina. They have two children - Tripp, who is 19, and Susannah, who is 15. Tripp is finishing his second year at Co-Lin Community College and will be attending the University of Mississippi in the fall of 2018. Tripp is on the varsity tennis team at Co-Lin. Susannah is a ninth grader at Oak Grove High School, and she loves to dance and practice yoga.
