disciples of Christ. We encourage everyone to get involved. There's a
place for everyone!
Adult Ministries
Sunday School
Adult Sunday School classes meet on Sunday mornings from 9:40-10:30 a.m. Currently there are around 10 adult Sunday School classes, which cater to different life stages and interests.
Small Groups
Parkway Heights has various small groups that meet for fellowship and study. In addition to our Wednesdays in the Neighborhood groups, there are other Bible studies and small groups that meet throughout the week as well.
We encourage everyone to find a small group and "band together." Learn more about BANDing together
Senior Adults
Parkway Heights has an abundance of activities for our senior adult members such as day trips and Lunch & Fun quarterly gatherings.
GLORY Club Game Day takes place each Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Senior adults gather in Rooms 303 A & B for good food and fellowship, laughter and social interaction. Games include bridge, Mexican train dominoes and a variety of card games.
Our North of 70 Ministry, for those in our congregation age 70 and older, provides support and care, such as help running errands, being driven to doctor’s appointments, having groceries or prescriptions delivered, etc.
Women's Ministry
Parkway Heights’ Women’s Ministry seeks to connect women of all ages and stations in life. We believe that as we connect with one another, we will find the encouragement we need to grow in our faith and deepen our relationship with Christ. We have various opportunities for women to connect, both long-term small groups and short-term studies. We also have several special events during the year for women only.
United Women in Faith
United Women in Faith is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. UWF has two circles (small groups) within the overall organization. The Bevill/Vickery Circle meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. in the Fireside Room. The Outreach Circle meets on the first Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. in the Fireside Room. All women are welcome and invited to get involved!
United Methodist Men
The mission of the United Methodist Men is to help men grow in Christ, so others may know Christ. The men meet about once a month for social gatherings and have performed many service projects.
