Hanging of the Greens, our church event to celebrate the beginning of Advent, will be held Sunday, Nov. 30. We will start with decorating the church for Advent/Christmas at 3:30 p.m. We’ll need lots of helpers to make it all happen in the Atrium, Sanctuary and Founders Hall! A nursery will be provided during this time.

Starting around 4:45 p.m., everyone will visit different activity stations. We’ll put together the Go Live Love bags as a mission project, make Advent wreaths and decorate Chrismons. We’ll end with a light dinner, music and a brief devotion.

If you’d like to contribute to the meal by bringing a Crock-Pot of soup, a plate of sandwiches or a dessert, please sign up in Sunday’s bulletin or on the big signs in the Atrium. This is going to be a terrific night for all as we prepare our hearts and minds for the coming of Christ!
